Kevin and The Octaves is a duo featuring Eric Tuffendsam (of Curbsquirrels and Moonlight Studios) and Jamie Mandel (of The Scrubs and Nice Guy Records). They play a wide range of rock, punk, and garage styles.
Their music has been featured recently in TV ads for Chicken Little, We Own The Night, Knocked Up, and Bachelor Party 2, and it appears in the video game Don King Presents Prizefighter on Xbox. Their punk cover of "White Christmas" recently took 2nd prize in Soundclick.com's Holiday Cover Contest out of thousands of entries.
The first full length album by Kevin and The Octaves, Hang Your Stocking Start The Rocking, was released in 2008 on Nice Guy Records, and is available on iTunes and Amazon. Their version of Jingle Bells was featured in the Lifetime Network TV movie Will You Merry Me.
