We started in 2005 as a three piece with the crazy idea of breaking away from doing what was popular and playing music that we like playing. What came from that idea is an very honest form of metal, taking our favorite elements from what we like to listen to and incoporating them into our own music. 3 years later, we think we're doing that quite well. We've been through a few lineup changes, but our current lineup should be sticking around for quite a while. We've played some big shows, gone out of town a few times, had our fair share of misfortune and more than our fair share of nights that we leave the stage to the sounds of a satisfied crowd screaming in approval, and wanting more. We never disappoint when we play, and as any person who has seen us live or any band we've played with will tell you, we have fun on stage. We'll always bring our A-game, doesn't matter where we play or how few people we play in front of, come see us live and we'll prove it. LUNARIUM HAD THEIR CD RELEASE PARTY @ THE BLUE NOTE AND C O B WAS THE OPENING ACT AND REALLY GOT THE CROWD WARMED UP ! THEIR HIGH ENERGY SET ALONG WITH THE FUN ATMOSPHERE THEY PERCEIVED WAS ADDICTIVE . THEIR NEW SONG"THE NEW ONE" WAS RIGHT ON SPOT ALONG WITH A GREAT RENDISION OF "THE GOOD SHEPPARD " WAS GREAT . "FALLEN EAGLE" WAS ALSO A CROWD PLEASER. NEXT UP WAS "ZEPHANIAH" FROM FORT WAYNE ,IN. AND WAS 'SMOKIN HOT WITH THEIR PROFESSIONAL SET OF GREAT VOCALS , SCREAMIN GUITAR RIFFS & DRUMS THAT WERE RIGHT ON TIME.THE "SWORD OF THE KING" WAS EXCELLENT AND "DEEP BREATH" WAS GREAT TO LISTEN TO. "CORRUPTION OF BLOOD"'S SHOW AT THE MADISON WAS "SHORT BUT SWEET" , THE CD RELEASE PARTY FOR "FULCRUMPOINT" ENDED WITH A BANG ! AFTER THE SET FROM THE HOST "FULCRUMPOINT" THE BOYS SET UP AND RIPPED TWO SONGS OFF THAT WERE SENSATIONAL , THEN COMES TH STUPID PART, SOME FOLKS IN THE ENTRANCE STARTED FIGHTING AND THE BARTENDER STARTS SCREAMING "ALRIGHT EVERYBODY OUT ,THIS THINGS DONE" . SO WITH C O B 'S FANS AT THE STAGE, NOT REALIZING WHAT THE FUSS WAS , WONDERED WHY THEY WERE SHUTING THE SHOW DOWN ?. FOUND OUT SOME OF THE EARLIER BANDS FANS WENT BONZO AND STARTED FIGHTING OUT FRONT ,SO THE COPS CAME AND THE BARTENDER/MANG. WENT NUTS ,AND SENT EVERYBODY PACKING. THEY SOUNDED EXCELLENT ,EVEN IF IT WAS FOR ONLY TWO SONGS . HOPE THEY CAN COME BACK TO THE MADISON AND FINISH WHAT THEY STARTED !!! 1Board
Stagge's Show 3/19/08
Was a kick ass show with Death Broker ,Ninth & York ,ALD ,and Lunapollo . C O B was sounding better than ever with their new drummer "Sam" at the skins and the combination of anew drummer and new attitude was outstanding . The new song "The New One' was one of the brightest tunes of the night from the new envigorated Corruption of Blood Band that night . With shows coming up in the same week @ the Madison Theatre and The Blue Note they seem to be heading in the right direction ,with Horns Up !! Ninth & York was at their best that evening as well with Death Broker just DAMM Loud and Crankin . Great Show to all ! Turn 'em Up !! 1Board
