I write music that I like because its just what I need to do to get by. It used to be a lot more ska and punk... and it still is. Just not so much. Oh yeah and whinny too. Not so much that anymore either.

In Short This is How Things Started or The Old Bio

This is an exercise in maintaining sanity when you're cooped up in the bedroom of your apartment by yourself all day with nothing but a Radio Shack microphone, a 65 watt Fender amp, and some not so high quality instruments. Or writing songs about stuff that pisses you off and other stuff that's pretty awesome.

Once every now and again everything in your life goes stupid... and then I used to have a bunch of whiny crap here about how it was everyone's fault that my life sucked but my own... but after doing this for a while it has become a bit more serious and I've realized that was all bullshit. It's my own job to make things work.

Anyway, everything hit critical mass when I started talking to my mom one night, while drinking whiskey with my sister and my grandpa at a wedding, about what I want to do with my life and such. She kept telling me that music is pretty much a waste of time and shouldn't be more than a hobby... It felt like she just said, I'm not very good at it. I'm still not, which is part of the reason I'm doing this. It's a learning experience. We were also talking about how the adults in my life have always lied to me because they always told me I could be anything I wanted to be and dream big, yeah blah blah. Whatever. Now-a-days they all say "Stop playing music. Get a career oriented job. Settle down and grow up. Just give in!"

Fuck that!

So then what is the Best Revenge? To do exactly what people tell you not to because you'll fail at it (yeah, I stole the name from the Vandals). And so with what little means I had I started recording anything and everything that came to mind and some of it actually started sounding decent.

Oh yeah... I/we have played with bands such as Westbound Train, Bomb the Music Industry, and the Flaiming Tsunamis, done a tour with the Pinstripes (summer 07), and Rick Johnson slept on my couch once... youre supposed to brag about that stuff on these things right?
 
My Mission Statement or A Bunch of Pretentious Bullshit

No money, no help from fancy labels, no help from fancy studios, no merch manufactuers, or any other bullshit like that. Just good friends, good music, and a desire to get it out to people. And I hope to keep things that way. I try to work entirely on a donation basis. Everything is as free as possible, but unfortunately playing music still costs money, so I ask for donations to cover my abillity to eat and travel. Also, any extra is put towards maintaining and upgrading equipment so I can provide a better performance and recordings. Not for fame. Not for fortune. Not to support a cocaine habit. Not to pick up hot chicks. Not to get rims. Just so I can tell people some stuff I hope they'll listen to. And finding more people to teach me things I didn't know.
