CINCYPUNK FEST VII: THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!

SHotgun

Yes folks, it's that time of year again. This Friday and Saturday April 11th and 12th is Cincpunk Fest VII. The wonderful and amazing Adam Rosing is still at the helm of the two day event that will move to the place it was held three years ago: The Southgate House. The concert is always a benefit for a worthy local charity and this year the Fest will help Alex Brauer, former drummer of local rockers, the Lions Rampant. The proceeds from the event will help Alex, who has testicular cancer, cover medical and health expenses.

As usual this is not a solely "punk" Fest. There are an insanely awesome amount of great bands (per usual), including some touring acts. Click READ MORE for the flier and time slot.

The Wading Girl is a trio (with occasional supporting musicians) based out of Roanoke, Virginia. Two of the three members are former Cincinnatians and the band always has put Cincinnati on their touring itinerary when they hit the road. The band was interviewed on a local Roanoke TV station and got to play two of their songs as well! Good job guys/gal!

Cincypunk.org Exclusive Interview: Thee Alliance

Thee Alliance

Thee Alliance is one of Cincinnati's hardest working punk bands. They've been together for over four years and played a boatload of shows. Thee Alliance has a new album coming out this month called "Provisions of an Uprising" .

The band is putting on a show at the Poison Room on March 21st in honor of the release. Don't forget that Alone at 3 AM is also putting on their CD release show for "City Out of Luck" that night as well. So if you can, try and make it out to both shows, but if you can only make it to one, you should try to pick up both CDs.

Enjoy, this Cincypunk.org exclusive interview with: Thee Alliance.
